Project Partners

The Listening Study is designed to involve collaborations with other organizations in order to increase its reach and expertise. We hope that trade organizations and media will circulate information about it and encourage their memberships to participate in it. We have also chosen a nonprofit organization with special expertise and/or audiences within each specific area to collaborate on gathering responses.

We are proud to have established partnership collaborations with the following organizations:

NATIONAL WILDLIFE FEDERATION - Partnering on Forest Issues

NWF was founded in 1936 as a nationwide federation of grassroots conservation groups, and has since emerged as the nationŐs leading grassroots conservation organization, with an extensive network of members and supporters and 47 affiliated organizations throughout the United States and its territories. Combining the local knowledge and focus of its strong grassroots network with the perspective, resources and strength of a national organization, the National Wildlife Federation generates unparalleled support for wildlife, wild places and a healthy environment.

NWF partners with its affiliates and other like-minded organizations to protect and restore wildlife habitats and biodiversity. Its conservation work focuses on the three broad areas of land stewardship, water resources protection and wildlife conservation.

NWFŐs forestry program is defined largely by work with private landowners, restoration of habitat and ecosystem processes, and support for market incentives encouraging forest conservation.
